Hello. The class was amazing. The guest speaker shuck something instead me to get my mind right and ready. He was awesome. Thank you Eileen.
ReplyDeleteMy biggest obstacle is starting something and not finishing. I decided I need a life line from my friends. I enlisted two great friends of mine to keep me on track and not give up. They will do weekly check ins with me to ensure I'm still on in tact. I think by having that support will help me go forward to the finish line
Having great friends is the best!! I love my support team!!
DeleteStacy, I can relate to start something and not finishing. I struggle with this as well at times. It is awesome that you have friends keeping you accountable, a very wise decision to make. Keep up the amazing work!
DeleteGood Morning Ladies,
DeleteI can also relate to starting something and not finishing it because I lost interest or didn't have the proper support team. I now make sure that I build a team to help push me over the finish line for time when disappointment, mishap or setbacks occur. I am glad to be apart of this team all striving for the same financial literacy and freedom.
One of my biggest obstacles is stability in housing. Since January, I have moved five times. I plan on resolving the issue by staying where I am currently living for at least another six months to a year so I can save. The next place I plan on moving is to my own residence.
ReplyDeleteAnnastacia that is a tough obstacle to go thru. The positive side is that you have a plan to make it better for you. Just stay positive and everything will work out. I will definitely be praying for you to have your own very soon. God never fails.
ReplyDeleteHello Ladies, My biggest obstacle is procrastination!! I just have to stop saying I'm going to do something later and just do it right then and there.
ReplyDeleteHi Sarai, procrastination is one of my many obstacles as well. I like your plan on how to change the procrastination. Changing the way we think can in turn change the way we act. Very insightful!
DeleteThis to me is my biggest and upfront total dilema. My ideas have always been, "I will get to them." If we can be each others motivators I believe we can eventually get over that "P" wors. Thanks for having me look into that mirror and realize there is help.
DeleteSarai I'm the same way. I need to stop as well. I get hyped then make excuses. We can help each other with this obstacle. Just keep encouraging each other to get things done. It will be a great feeling and accomplishment
ReplyDeleteStacy and Annastacia
DeleteI too procrastinate with things and I now use my family support to help push me to complete things that I have gotten board with. I think that this class will build a different time of support with all of you ladies. I am a former cheerleader so I know how support, be there and encourage friends, family and or just someone I just met. I think this class will bond us ladies together to support and cheer for one another's achievements and encourage each when we have setback.
Let me first start with the class was amazing and gave a lot of little nuggets to pull from. I think my biggest problem right now sticking to my goal. This is a new place for me right now. I worked 15 year as a human Resource generalist and back then I didn't have the problem of saving and having the emergency fund. I took some years off of work to stay with the child and now that I am back in the work force I am in a new career where I don't make as much. So now I have to set goal and stick to them and hope fully with this class I will be able to think of money differently and move differently to reach my goal. Changing my mindset has been my first obstacle if I think I can do it then I won't. So now my favor scripture is with God all things are possible to them that believe. So I believe that will be in a better situation come 3 for months down the line and I will consistently get better in time if I stay the course and follow the advise.
ReplyDeleteCharmaine thank you for that honest check of yourself. To me I think that is one of the hardest thinks to come to grips with is starting over and reevaluate our situations. I thik this nugget willdefiniately come in handy to me. You said it right "set the goal and stick to it."
DeleteI found this class to be very useful to me with one of my goals of starting my own business. H ehelped me to realize that if I stay consistant with my idea it will all workout. So the idea of being persistant was the thing the most Iwant to keep in my desire of being and making my dream a real reality. It will not be easy but persistant strive to have a good end result is the ultimate goal.
